The ÍMPETO exists to constantly strengthen the art scene in Minas Gerais.

The idea is to hold large artists' meetings in a space of formation, qualification and improvement and promote the democratization of access to knowledge.

ÍMPETO - WORLD CLOWS INVASION AND ALL OTHER

With the support of the Belo Horizonte Municipal Culture Incentive Law, the Trampulim Group held its first ÍMPETO.

The event promoted workshops for clowns from all over Brazil and was attended by with the illustrious presence of Canadian Sue Morrison - world clown master, theatrical director and creator of the “The Clown Through the Mask” method (recognized and acclaimed worldwide).

The first momentum had massive involvement of the regional, national and international artists' community and culminated with the execution of clown invasions in different spaces (public and private) of Belo Horizonte.

ÍMPETO – RISCO E RISO

In the second Ímpeto, Trampulim teamed up with great improvisational artists from Mina Gerais and occupied the city of Belo Horizonte with a series of clown invasions, as well as cabarets, shows and shows performed at ETC - Espaço Trampulim Cultural.

The project had the important role of creating a relationship network involving different groups and strengthening laughter and performing arts in Belo Horizonte.

Enabled by the Myriam Muniz Award - 2008, granted by FUNARTE, this impetus was attended by the groups: Maria Cutia, Malarrumada, A Company, Frito Na Hora, Doctors of Joy, as well as artists participating in the Canadian Sue Morrison's workshop of the first Ímpeto.

The result could not be different. Lots of reflection, subversion, laughter, madness and fun.
