How long does the time have? How many 'terrors' can the pause between the frantic and the monotonous pause? Between sleep and wake up? “Wake up” is a spectacle, but it is also a call for the viewer to wake up to a collective and current reality through the look of the clown.
Without answers, but with genuine questions, the audience is led by an irreversible sequence of events and meanings.
Who could imagine that a girl would be so successful?
But in the hands of these clowns even what seems impossible happens.
Benedita and Sabonete decide to make a classic concert, accompanied by a band, say, controversial. Not satisfied with the result they also transform the audience into a large orchestra.
Sabonete wants to prepare a dinner for her lover when Benedita comes in to help. They face all sorts of unforeseen events, confusions and stumbles that create in the audience an immediate identification with everyday scenes of love and friendship relationships. And that's where the grace comes, drawing sighs and laughter.
In Pratubatê it is like this: stage, audience, clown, musician and spectator all saw one thing.
All thanks to the binding power of the drum, or rather the drums.
Conductor and musicians conduct a true co-creation show where each spectator receives a drum and takes on the role of protagonist of a memorable performance.
